With a clear commitment to sustainability, Milipol Paris 2025 is driving positive change by encouraging both exhibitors and visitors to embrace eco-friendly behaviours before, during and after the event.
As Milipol Paris 2025 gears up for this year’s edition of the show from 18 to 21 November, it is stepping up its role as a responsible leader in environmental stewardship and corporate social responsibility (CSR) by striving to create a greener and more inclusive event for everyone.
From the moment attendees begin planning their journey, Milipol Paris promotes low-impact travel. Visitors are encouraged to opt for public transport, cycle, or carpool to reduce CO₂ emissions. Once on-site, a number of eco-conscious measures come into play: paper use is limited, plastic badge holders have been replaced with recyclable cardboard, and visitor catalogues are now fully digital. Attendees are also encouraged to be mindful of their consumption to help reduce waste, to use the sorting bins available throughout the show to facilitate recycling, and to opt for meals made with local, seasonal or organic ingredients whenever possible.
Greener exhibiting, smarter choices
Meanwhile, exhibitors are being actively encouraged to adopt similar green practices. The show encourages companies to design stands using sustainable materials, avoid single-use items, and limit unnecessary resource use. In addition, exhibitors are invited to work with local service providers and optimise deliveries to reduce transport emissions and on-site congestion. The event also promotes inclusive practices by ensuring spaces are accessible to all levels of mobility. Exhibitors are encouraged to showcase their own CSR commitments, an initiative that enhances their brand image in a market that increasingly values environmental responsibility.
Energy efficiency is another focus. Heating and air conditioning are kept at moderate levels, and attendees are asked to dress accordingly, underscoring a collective effort to reduce excess energy use. Even digital habits are taken into account: by offering free Wi-Fi, the show helps reduce the carbon footprint of mobile data consumption.
Through these measures and other initiatives Milipol Paris is setting an example for the global security sector, showing how through each small sustainable action, large-scale events can contribute to a much greater positive impact.
